“I think in terms of the day’s resolutions, not the years’” – Henry Moore

I have been having quite a bit of drama with my eldest son – and apparently his girlfriends family. While I miss my son (I still haven’t seen him – and have no desire to do so for a while) I am glad that this happened. Please don’t misunderstand me. I do not like the stress. I don’t like the drama. At this point I don’t even care who is right or wrong, but I do know that I haven’t felt horrible for his lack of communication between us nor have I felt ignored, neglected, or worthless to my son. Why? Because we have just chosen not to talk. I am also happy to finally see how completely psychotic his girlfriends family is and I am not so secretly praying that their little “love” sizzles out – which is likely since they are only fifteen anyway.

Now, you might be wondering how I found out that his girlfriends family – and possibly his girlfriend for all I know – is crazy. Its quite interesting, actually. In the beginning of all this fiasco between my son and I knew SOMEONE was stalking my pages. No sooner than I would make a post to this blog my son would find out about it and ask me to remove it because “people were harassing him about it”. Naturally I couldn’t help but wonder who on Earth would do such a thing. And then it hit me….my photography dot com was linking to my photography facebook page. And then the facebook page views skyrocketed. No, seriously. I am not kidding you. My photography – for the most part – is just an extension of me. My photo shoots are sporatic. I don’t really advertise. I do it for the love and fun of it. On average I would “normally” have received 4-5 page views per day on my photography facebook. Once the drama hit? I started seeing ten…then fifteen…thirty. At one point in time I had gotten 74 views per day.

At that point I knew that something was up. I’m not a stupid woman. I may do stupid things sometimes, but I’m not actually stupid. No, seriously…my IQ has actually been tested, haha. Anyway, I closed down my dot com, I closed down my facebook photography page, and then I made my personal facebook public. Trap set. It didn’t take long. Out of nowhere I received a notification from facebook….Wendy Bauer has followed you. What a big surprise. The mother of my sons girlfriend is the one who has been stalking me online. Problem quickly solved thereafter. Facebook thankfully has a blocking feature. I blocked the whole lot of them, and it has been quiet ever since.
